Why Ethically Sourced Coffee Actually Matters

Most people just want a good coffee. Fair.
But where it comes from? That matters more than you think.

Behind every cup is a chain of people, places, and decisions. When coffee is ethically sourced, it means the people growing it are treated fairly, paid properly, and supported long term. Not squeezed. That’s something we care about.

So what does “ethically sourced” actually mean?

For us, it starts with transparency.

We know where the beans are grown, who’s behind them and how they’re processed.

It means we only work with roasters and suppliers who are doing things properly, looking after both the product and the people behind it. No guesswork. No vague claims.

The bit that really matters

Our coffee supports the Café Femenino Foundation - a programme that works directly with women coffee farmers.

And that’s not just a nice story for a website.

It means:

  • women are paid directly for their work

  • they have access to education and resources

  • they can invest back into their communities

It’s about independence. Real impact. Not just a label.

And yes, it still tastes good.

All of that matters, but let’s be honest…if the coffee isn’t good, none of it sticks. Ours is a medium roast Arabica blend from Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador and Ethiopia.

Smooth. Balanced. Easy to drink every day.

Think:

  • caramel and chocolate

  • a bit of fruit

  • a clean, nutty finish

It’s made for your flat white. Your cappuccino. Your daily go-to.

More than just your standard coffee

If you want to mix it up, we’ve got a few favourites:

  • Honey Latte smooth, naturally sweet

  • Spanish Latte richer, more indulgent

  • Dirty Chai spiced, bold, wakes you up properly

  • Matcha slower, cleaner energy

  • Turmeric & Beetroot warming, a bit different

Same thinking behind all of them. Good ingredients. Done properly.

The bottom line

You don’t need to overthink it. But if you’re drinking coffee every day, it’s worth choosing one that actually does some good along the way. Better for the people growing it. Better quality in your cup.

And still exactly what you need first thing in the morning.
